The results are in from the UK’s Largest Hospitality Survey 2025! 

Together with a number of other leading hospitality organisations, we surveyed hospitality employees on everything from their salary expectations and satisfaction levels, to what they consider the top employee benefits and most likely to make them stay in a hospitality role. 

Here’s a snapshot of some of the results

  • 88% of employees consider 'Training and development sessions' as a top employee benefits, yet only 51% of respondents say it's available to them, and just 48% believe they have received sufficient training to feel fully qualified for their role 

  • 46% have a salary of £30k or less, compared to 37% on 2024 and 30% on 2023 

  • 66% say the technology used in their workplace has made their daily tasks either somewhat or much easier 

  • 73% are proud to work in hospitality, down from 80% on 2024 

  • 47% of hospitality workers are clocking up 8+ additional hours per week, up from 40% in 2024 

  • And 59% are not paid extra for working additional hours, down from 62% on 2024
