Background

CleanEvent Services, or CES, is the UK’s leading soft services provider. It specialises in sport, leisure, healthcare, education, and retail venues, ensuring an exceptional experience for its clients’ guests. These clients include Liverpool FC, Aintree, Silverstone, Ascot Racecourse, the Olympic Games, Eastgate Shopping Centre and the Hippodrome Casino.

Why CleanEvent Services chose to work with Access

“During the time we were looking at providers, I felt that Access People were always supportive. Always friendly. I looked at feedback from your existing clients, and all of it was good. We had video calls, the system was explained really, really well, and you delivered some really good presentations and demonstrations to our directors. And you were very flexible to everybody’s needs,” Sara explains.

Over the next 12-24 months, CES plans to secure more contracts, leading to growth in employee numbers. So it’s more important than ever for them to streamline systems and processes across the board, from recruitment and onboarding to learning & development, health & safety, and payroll. All these functions are now moving to our unified platform which has been designed to scale with the needs of a growing business, so CES has the freedom to do more.

Last year, while working with the Home Office, CES was advised it needed an improved solution for its recruitment and onboarding functions. From there the goal to upgrade, consolidate, and streamline grew, with one of the main objectives being to simplify HR functions for the management team.   • Scalable HR with PeopleXD

  • Recruitment

Following advice from the Home Office, and in line with its growth projection, one of CES’s top priorities was our end-to-end recruitment solution. It can now automate processes, and use a suite of tools to make smarter compliant recruiting decisions. In turn, this can increase the return on investment by helping CES to attract and retain the best talent and reduce admin time.

  • Payroll

Access Payroll is designed for the changing requirements of a growing business. You can build the solution you need now, and scale as required in future. And it’s available on-the-go in our app, so it can be accessed by all employees, wherever they’re based.

  • EarlyPay

In addition, CES chose to add EarlyPay as an offering for its people. EarlyPay is our on-demand payroll app which gives employees instant access to pay they’ve already earned. Our latest survey tells us companies who use EarlyPay have seen an 80% increase in loyalty, and that 93% of people who’ve used on-demand pay say it’s helped them through the cost-of-living crisis.
