Explore how Haringey Council has digitally transformed how they manage their housing services by investing in our Access Adam ecosystem.

Haringey Council
Haringey Council's housing service has used the Access Adam ecosystem to improve its processes for managing temporary accommodation. The service works closely with accommodation providers who provide a pool of temporary homes that are matched to residents in need. This requires robust and effective systems and management processes.
Since its implementation, the system has helped to improve quality assurance and efficiency – and strengthened supplier relationships too.
The benefits the Access Adam system has brought to Haringey
- User-friendliness
The Access Adam Housing platform provides a structured and user-friendly environment for suppliers who can easily register, undergo approval, and list their properties through a dedicated portal. Suppliers have praised the platform for its clarity and simplicity. It has strengthened Haringey’s relationship with landlords and enabled them to expand their pool of temporary accommodation. Ensuring that approved providers only are listed, in turn provides quality assurance to tenants.
- Efficient booking and payment processes
The system offers a streamlined booking system so that Haringey’s Procurement and Rehousing teams can efficiently identify and book suitable properties and speed up the rehousing process. It also provides consolidated monthly invoicing through The Access Group ensuring suppliers are paid promptly and accurately. This has also enhanced trust in the council’s financial management.
- Improved data and insights
The platform automatically recoups funds owed by suppliers removing the need for lengthy reconciliations. It also generates detailed reports that provide into housing supply, supplier performance, and emerging trends. This data-driven approach allows Haringey Council to make informed decisions, optimise resource allocation, and plan effectively for future demand.

“As the Contract Lead for the Local Authority’s Homelessness Service, I have been closely involved with the inception, development, implementation, and operational use of the Adam Housing platform since 2016. This system has fundamentally transformed our approach to procuring and managing temporary accommodation for homeless families and individuals.”
