Carefound Home Care was founded with the aim of providing a high quality, specialist care service to elderly people in Yorkshire, enabling them to continue to live independently in the comfort of their own home whilst maintaining the highest quality of life achievable.

people. Oliver continued “The reason we chose Access PeoplePlanner was that although it was
quite systematic in what it did, you’ve got the ability to shape it yourself, as the user, which suited us. Access PeoplePlanner has evolved at the same time as us so we haven’t had to spend a lot of money in-house, developing something ourselves.
The Results
Carefound Home Care have gone from managing their organisation manually to automating many processes. “When we were first established we ran many systems using Excel,” continued Oliver. Access PeoplePlanner manages the essential processes like staff rotas and planning of people, alongside finance functions, including invoicing and payroll. Oliver continued, “Essentially what we can do with invoicing and payroll now at the click of a button is run all of the work we’ve done over the last four weeks.”
Carefound Home Care have used Access PeoplePlanner to build all of their quality assurance, including; processes, tasks, and event management. This led to them receiving an ‘Outstanding’ rating from the Care Quality Commission at end of last year, which less than 1% of care providers in
the UK have achieved.
The Benefits
Carefound Home Care has a better view of their monitoring and visibility and know within 15 minutes if someone has not arrived at a client’s property, ensuring they are delivering the correct care. The reduction in admin time has freed up people to focus on the needs of staff and clients. While the introduction of automated forms has allowed a paperless recruitment process, and within the next year they aim to have a completely paperless office.
