Home Sensors

Our sensors allow proactive insight into the activities of daily living such as movement and fluid consumption, detecting both anomalies in behaviour and environmental hazards such as smoke and high temperatures.

Data-driven insights allow informed decisions to be made, and a proactive approach to care.

With the ability to trigger alerts to the care circle in real-time, preventative action can be taken to ensure a healthier environment, keeping an individual in their home and reducing hospital stays.

The Home Hub

Our Home Hub brings together data from multiple sources such as sensors, wearables, and smart plugs all in one centralised place to provide better insight to enable informed actions.

Here the data collected can record and highlight typical day-to-day routines and behaviours in a matter of 14 days. Carers and loved ones can be notified about any subtle and gradual changes before something more critical happens to prevent further health complications, and hospital admissions.

Hospital discharge delays can also be reduced, by providing a safe and monitored environment for a patient to be discharged to. Individuals can then recover at home sooner with the confidence they can get the additional support they need when they need it.

App & Smart Alerts

Our App offers the opportunity to create your own rules and smart alerts on what you want to be notified on.

For example, you can create a rule to be alerted when an individual has started their day or when they have gone to bed. You could also create a rule to be notified if the front door has opened late at night too. This is especially beneficial if an individual is suffering with dementia or confusion as it can ensure they stay safe and don’t go wandering off.

Smart Plugs

Traditionally smart plugs let you schedule power on and off on any electrical outlet with an app or with your voice.

Using our TEC smart plugs insights can be gained on daily routines, providing reassurance a usual activity has happened, and the individual is keeping hydrated, avoiding potential health complications.

Sensors

Our sensors allow proactive insight into activities such as movement and fluid consumption, detecting both anomalies in behaviour and environmental hazards such as smoke and high temperatures.

The ability to track temperature, humidity, and movement, with a support button that sends an alert to the chosen contact or Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC). The button can also be used to register visits.

Data-driven insights allow informed decisions to be made, and a proactive approach to care.

Smoke Alarm

Our Smoke Sensor is an intelligent, wireless smoke sensor that if smoke is detected, it sounds a loud 85db alarm while simultaneously opening a “conference call” with the ARC and up to five devices. This enables ARCs to check if an individual is home and if it is a false alarm before sending out emergency services.

The care circle can remotely monitor the smoke sensor’s maintenance needs through Access Device Management Platform, so the device is always operational. The smoke sensor is wireless and battery-operated making it easy to install.

Hydracup

Hydracup ensures 24/7 fluid volume measurement and spill detection through intelligent fall and impact detection. It has a 5-day battery life and is dishwasher safe.

Through the Device Management Platform, carers can easily monitor individuals’ fluid management, track fluid intake in real-time, and receive spill alerts. The platform also keeps track of fluid intake history, and trends, and allows restricted fluid management.

Carers can make informed decisions about care plans and manage fluid intake to ensure compliance with care plans.

The Device Management Platform provides a powerful tool for carers to manage fluid intake and provide the best possible care to individuals.

Wearables

Our TEC wearables allow us to join both our preventative and reactive care together.

The panic button in our wearables allows our Home Hub to quickly alert our Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC) when the social alarm is raised. Here the ARC can speak to the individual directly and decide what’s best for the individual at that moment in time. At this point loved ones and carers would also be notified so they can be informed with what has happened and what is going to happen next.

Pendant and buttons

Traditional community alarms have a significant limitation: if an individual is not near the unit when an alarm is triggered, they cannot communicate with the Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC), which can result in an unnecessary ambulance call-out.

Our innovative solution overcomes this limitation by combining the pendant and buttons. With multiple base stations, the pendant can easily be transitioned between floors, ensuring voice capabilities are always available. Individuals can wear the pendant around the home or outside, or use a button placed strategically around the home for quick-call assistance.

Our smoke alarm is also integrated with the Access Device Management Platform, triggering a voice call to up to five devices, including the pendant, when smoke is detected. This ensures that false alarms can be confirmed and the individual’s safety can be quickly established.

Individuals are always easily contactable and locatable in the event of fall detection, SOS or fire, whether they are within the home or outside. It provides peace of mind for individuals and their caregivers, and reduces the risk of unnecessary emergency call-outs.

Access Device Management Platform

The Access Device Management Platform is fully interoperable and device agnostic. With our Device Management Platform, you can seamlessly integrate all of your digital devices and sensors, allowing you to manage your entire digital device estate from a single, user-friendly platform.

You'll have access to a range of features and benefits designed to enhance the quality of care provided to individuals while streamlining administrative processes for care providers.
