Do you have an in built holiday planner within the system? e.g. We currently use Timetastic software for holiday planning for support staff holidays?
Yes holidays are all put into the HR system for all staff with configurable workflows for authorisation of leave requests.
If you have the finance package with Bromcom, will the process still work seamlessly if we was to take on Payroll and HR with Access?
Yes , We have a number of users on many different Finance** Systems. We also have links that could allow it to integrate too
Is Screening separate from the HR module?
Yes but we offer bundles for screening, either PAYG or for an allotted number per year at a discount
If they update their information - will this be fed through to our MIS system?

Can they opt in and out of pension schemes on this page?
Not via self service
If they update any personal information, do we get notified so we can request evidence?
Yes
Does the system integrate with FMS?
It will link in with file exports that can be put into FMS, yes
Will you be able to undertake an import from BCC? Sorry if you have already mentioned
What kind of import would that be, just so I can answer correctly?
To ask the same question another way. Will we have to onboard all our current employees manually into the Access?
We will transfer all existing staff data into the HR system for you. Data Migration is an important part of the implementation process and will be carried out by the school along with you Access Onboarding Consultant.
Can our current SCR be transferred to your system, preventing manual input?
Yes
Hi, if an employee is on a TLR or fixed term contract is about to end, how are we notified?
With TLR's you can set an end date, so that way you don't have to remember to do anything with it. But you can also run pay and allowance report to show end dates. With Contracts, you enter in the date and can then set up a notification for it to alert you.
Can the SCR function be available for Ofsted to check and the Safeguarding Governor to audit?
You can run the SCR report any time and show it to Ofsted on screen. Or you can download the report and print/forward as required.
Currently BCC carry out part of our workforce census . Do you offer this?
The Access Education People system allows you to run you SWC creating a file for you to upload to Collect.
Can the SCR be used for non members of staff i.e. supply teachers?
Anyone in the system will appear on the SCR report so you can create records for non employees and put them into a post with no salary.
What happens when the dedicated person for payroll /pension is sick or on holiday?
Payroll Executives are asked to take their leave outside of critical processing times. But in the event of unplanned absence, we have a large team of payroll execs, so they will provide cover when required
How would those schools who don't work in the holidays sign off the payroll reports?
We will ask for at least 2 contacts at the school who can sign off on payroll, ideally one of whom is available over the summer. Alternatively, the reports can be accessed by you from home.
What if someone is overpaid, who recovers payment?
We will work with you to agree a repayment schedule for the employee.
Is there a knowledge base e.g. like the finance system and the new digital assistant too?
Yes. All Access products have a wealth of information in Knowledge base including video tutorials, new release information and more.
