Person-centred care is about doing things with people rather than to them.
In line with the fundamental standards, eLearning For You have developed this course to bring an understanding to all employees on this subject.
Being person-centred is about focusing care on the needs of the person rather than the needs of the service. Some people may not be able to express their views, and this course encourages learners to consider non-visual cues as well as involving families in decision making. Learners will look at how to meet the needs and preferences of the individuals they support.
