Care certificate (Scotland)
Access Learning for Care have designed a state-of-the-art eLearning course for The Care Certificate suitable for Scotland. This is an agreed set of standards that outlines the knowledge, skills and behaviours that are expected of specific job roles in the health and social care sectors. The Care Certificate is made up of 15 standards that should be covered by all individuals who are new into care, where the Care Certificate should form part of a robust induction programme.
Care Certificate online training
We offer the Care Certificate as a standard one-off course and covers the required 15 standards; we also provide a downloadable workbook. Alternatively, please contact us about our fully accredited ePortfolio option.
The Care Certificate is an induction framework compiled by Skills for Care and Skills for Health. Our Care Certificate eLearning course will give you the underpinning knowledge to help you in your role. Once the eLearning course has been completed, learners should complete questions on the Care Certificate in a workbook which will help to assess their knowledge. All learners should be observed in the workplace as part of their Care Certificate training, to ensure they meet the requirements for completing the course.
Once a learner has completed their Care Certificate online training, workbook and received observation in the workplace, they will be issued with a certificate for their completion of the Care Certificate.
