What factors led you to choose Access Learning and Access Content?

Factors leading to Access

“Our initial foray into Access came through a valuable partnership with our liability insurer, AIG. Recognising the importance of training for staff safety and operational efficiency, AIG introduced us to Access’s comprehensive suite of solutions. This sparked a conversation that addressed our specific needs, starting with online safety training. We had a trial on AIG’s portal to acclimatise.

“AIG's positive experience resonated with our existing search for a learning management system (LMS). Your system's capabilities far exceeded initial impressions.” Sarita Roberts, Group Training and Competency Manager, TWMA

Features that make the difference to TWMA

“The Access LMS has become a cornerstone of our training management system, and several key features have significantly boosted our efficiency and effectiveness.”

“Firstly, the comprehensive compliance dashboards is a game-changer. They offer a centralised view of all training activities, encompassing user completion rates, upcoming deadlines, and overall progress. This transparency is invaluable. Our team can quickly identify areas requiring attention, while the wider business gains confidence in our commitment to compliance. Even users themselves benefit from having a clear picture of their training status.”

“Another feature we highly appreciate is the automated training assignment. Gone are the days of manually assigning training modules to each user. By setting up automated rules within the Access system, training is assigned based on factors like a user's role or department.”

“The platform's extensive content library is another major benefit. For most of our compliance and health and safety training needs, we can find pre-built eLearning modules within the Access library.”

"Finally, we appreciate the unified platform offered by Access. Previously, we used multiple online learning providers, each with its own login and interface. This not only created a logistical nightmare but also made the training experience cumbersome for users. The Access LMS  brings everything under one roof, simplifying the training experience for everyone involved."

Access Learning: Boosting engagement and compliance

Implementing Access Learning has yielded significant improvements in two key areas: training engagement and compliance.

One of the most valuable features is the ability to send automated reminders to users who haven't completed their assigned training. This has demonstrably increased engagement, ensuring staff stay up-to-date on crucial knowledge and skills.

Furthermore, compliance with mandatory training requirements, a critical KPI for our operations and safety protocols, has seen a remarkable rise. Our target compliance rate of 85% is consistently exceeded, currently hovering at a healthy 89%.

Would you recommend Access?

“Yes, I definitely would. The product is supporting us and still has a huge amount of potential. Access’s ongoing support and our strong relationship allows TWMA to maximise the platform's potential and build a future focused on continuous improvement.”

“The introduction of a dedicated Customer Success Manager marked a turning point. This single point of contact fostered a blossoming relationship and ensured smooth communication. We were able to collaboratively address system improvements, leading to a successful conclusion for all parties.” Sarita Roberts, Group Training and Competency Manager, TWMA

Where do you see your industry going, and how can you use technology to stay ahead of your competition?

“The oil industry faces a future shaped by both continued relevance and growing sustainability questions. To stay competitive, we need a technology partner like Access to effectively showcase our commitment to a well-trained workforce, explore potential applications for sustainable practices, and ultimately maintain a leading edge in a changing market.” Sarita Roberts, Group Training and Competency Manager, TWMA
