The Access Group completes acquisition of Sage Group’s Australia and Asia businesses expanding footprint in Asia Pacific and fueling global growth

London, Tuesday, 1 June 2021: The Access Group (“Access”) today announced that it has completed the acquisition of Sage Group’s local businesses in Australia and Asia. The acquisition includes the company’s Australian HandiSoft accounting and MicrOpay and WageEasy compliant payroll solutions, together with the EasyPay payroll solution in Singapore and UBS Accounting software in Malaysia.

Today’s announcement continues the company’s focus on the Asia Pacific region as a centre of growth. Following this latest acquisition and the recent purchases of Attaché, Volcanic and Unleashed in the Asia Pacific region, Access has strengthened its global market presence and now serves 71,000 customers world-wide.

Kerry Agiasotis will transition from Sage to become President of The Access Group, Asia Pacific. The Access Group will also bring its global SaaS solution, Access Workspace, to the region which connects payroll, finance, HR and digital learning applications to one platform, transforming the way software solutions are used, and giving every employee the freedom to do more from a simple, single sign-on interface.

Access Asia Pacific now provides payroll and accounting software and services, human resources, employee recognition, digital learning and gamified learning solutions, inventory management software, not-for-profit website software and recruitment and staffing website software.
