Who are YPO?

•    YPO is a public sector buying organisation and is one of the largest procurement organisations dedicated to working with the public sector, including local authorities, schools, and emergency services to name a few.

•    YPO is publicly owned by 13 local authorities meaning any profits they make get returned to public sector customers to help deliver a better service at a better value for money.

•    They operate as a national sector buying organisation supplying products, goods, and services to its members and customers, with their primary aim to streamline the procurement process, save costs, and ensure compliance with procurement regulations.

•    YPO works by creating solutions and giving customers compliant routes to market to access these, framework agreements and contracts with pre-approved suppliers to allow their members and customers to access suppliers and procure services more efficiently and safely.

What is a YPO framework agreement?

·         A framework agreement is a form of procurement used to create an umbrella agreement between customers and suppliers,

·         Frameworks are designed to simplify and streamline the procurement process and give customer a compliant route to market.

·         The framework opportunity is advertised to the market. Potential suppliers  decide whether they would like to join the framework, and if so, apply to join.

·         YPO evaluate the application(s) based on pre-set qualitative questions to ensure that the organisation has the correct capabilities to deliver the solution.

·         All suppliers on the agreement have therefore been pre-approved and have demonstrated acceptable levels of capability, experience, competence, and value.

·         This framework agreement has been established to allow customers to purchase goods, works or services.

·         This framework is a single supplier, providing a managed service to our customers.

·         The single provider is called Access Adam Care Commissioning , and the framework allows  customers to call-off from the framework via Direct Award.

·         YPO have standard terms and conditions that customers can use when calling-off from the framework and a dedicated team to talk you through the call-off process, if required.
