Access ConQuest 7 Enhancements and New Features
Security Enhancements
Lock Projects / Read-Only Projects - Access ConQuest administrators can now ‘lock’ projects so no further edits can be made by users.
We developed this enhancement after feedback from our users, giving customers with multiple estimators inputting into a project, more control over their estimate, and ensuring projects can be frozen for review.
This is also an enhancement of our security features, ensuring sensitive projects can be locked.
Project Access Control - Furthermore, Access ConQuest also now has access control over projects within the software. This allows Administrators to ensure sensitive projects can only be accessed by verified users, limiting visibility to only those who are approved to work on the project.
Online Enquiries Security Enhancements – Our popular subcontractor bid management module, Online Enquiries, is used to source quotes from subcontractors. Requests land directly in subcontractors’ inboxes and quotes are sent using an easy-to-use online portal. Online Enquires now has further advanced security enhancements around trade send-outs.
Library Enhancements
Create Custom Libraries - Access ConQuest users now have more flexibility over the libraries they use. Users can install, edit and copy the libraries they use frequently, with the ability to add additional libraries to the system.
Users can also now create a new library from scratch, consolidating the items they use in a single view and saving even more time when building accurate estimates.
Users currently have access to a range of libraries with over 10 million costed items to select from, including the SMM7, CESMM & NRM2 libraries.
On-Screen Takeoff Improvements
Stronger Integration - Users who use our On-Screen Take-off module will now find integration between take-off and building a bill of quantities even simpler. On-Screen Take-off measurements are now available in the ConQuest software without On-Screen Take-off needing to be opened.
Upgraded Measurement Library - The base measurement library for On-Screen Take-off has now been upgraded.
Overall Performance Improvements
Access Construction’s engineering team have worked on the overall performance of the software, including securing data integrity and ensuring future enhancements and new features will be able to be released significantly faster than currently using an auto-updater tool.
Senior Product Manager at Access Construction, Jane Davidson, explains how these new performance improvements will lead to an exciting and productive new era for the popular Access ConQuest system:
“The product team will work with our customers, review market trends and competitors to identify new enhancements needed in the software and work with the engineering team on a new delivery timetable. This is an exciting opportunity for Access Construction and its customers as we look to deliver more timely updates of the software to ensure our customers are reaping the benefits.”
