Access Evo is an evolution of Access Workspace incorporating AI features, product functionality and an upgrade in the user experience of Access software. It leverages the latest advancements in AI to enhance efficiency, improve decision-making and deliver user experiences in a secure, closed environment.

Over the last 12 months, Access engineers have worked closely with Microsoft, embedding Open AI as the powerhouse behind the Group’s AI initiatives. Access forecasts to support over 5 million users on Access Evo without compromising security, data protection or commitment to sustainable business practices.

Chris Bayne, Access CEO commented:

“Access Evo is a unique AI-enabled software experience that will change how small and medium-sized businesses experience business software. Over the next 12 months, we will release over 50 products enhanced with responsible AI – the most Access has ever launched in one fiscal year.

Our customer data has been sacrosanct in this process, and our generative AI works within it, providing unparalleled privacy and security.”

Research conducted earlier this year across multiple business sectors indicates that organisations across the board are embracing AI technology as a tool for productivity and innovation. 82% of businesses polled stated that AI helps them produce better work, a testament to the technology's transformative potential.

The research showed that AI is helping employees work more efficiently. Over half (55%) of respondents said AI saves them time every week by automating repetitive tasks like data analysis and customer support and 42% believe it saves their organisation money.

Marko Perisic, chief product and engineering officer at The Access Group said:

“Access Evo is a game changer for our customers, enabling them to shift their focus to more meaningful, human-centred tasks. Over 80% of customers who are now using Access Evo say they have a superior user experience. By automating routine and administrative functions, AI frees up time for employees to engage in creative and strategic work, enabling both personal fulfilment and workplace innovation.”

Businesses across the board are proving quick to embrace the new technology and already reaping the benefits. The Group debuted Access Evo within the HR profession in June last year with AI-assisted People XD Evo and People HR Evo, and it is forecast that over half of Access annual recurring revenue is due to come from products on the Access Evo platform this financial year. APAC is fast becoming a standout market for Access Evo with 15,000+ due to be live by the end of the year.

Marko continued: “This is why AI integration is so transformative—it enhances workflows, boosts efficiency and reduces the fear of falling behind in an ever-evolving tech landscape. The findings make it clear: AI is not just reshaping how we work, it’s redefining what we can achieve. With Access Evo, organisations can harness the power of AI to reduce employee stress, boost productivity and allow teams to focus on high-value, purpose-driven activities.

“While still in its infancy, AI will eventually replace energy-intensive manual browsing. This next technology iteration will drive efficiencies and, through our partnership with Microsoft, be done at scale.”
