Record Breaking Month for Mobile App that 'Transforms’ Lawyer Client Communication as Firms’ Focus on the Client Experience

The pioneering mobile app that was one of the first to pave the way for clear communication between legal professionals and clients on a mobile device, inCase, saw a record breaking month for client sessions last month, as law firms prioritise investment in client-facing technology to improve the client experience.

inCase recorded a new high for the app – reaching almost 700,000 client sessions during July, a 9 per cent increase on the previous high two months earlier.

Client sessions refer to every time a client opens their law firm branded inCase app, providing them with a clear step-by-step way to view and track progress of every case and one place to communicate efficiently and effectively with their solicitor.

As the industry sees an increase in law firms investing in client-facing technology, such as inCase to improve client experience for legal services including conveyancing, personal injury and family law, the app also saw a steep rise in new users. There were more than 17,000 users who logged into the app for the first time during July - a 10 per cent rise on their previous high for new users in June.

Built by lawyers for lawyers, inCase, has been used by over 3,300 legal professionals and supported more than 230,000 law firm clients in the last 12 months. The intuitive mobile app makes communication easier between law firms, solicitors and their clients and has proven how technology can increase productivity and support practitioners to deliver exceptional legal services.

Calls as a percentage of client sessions in July - the number of occasions clients use the call functionality while reviewing their case in the app - was also less than one per cent, indicating that clients have access to the information and updates they need without requiring further support at multiple stages. Thus freeing up legal professionals to focus on communicating with clients at the most important touchpoints and building stronger relationships.

The total number of documents sent to and received from clients in July also hit its highest ever volume -  a 7 per cent increase from June – showing engagement from clients using the app is increasing and that the functionality is proving invaluable to them.

inCase founder and CEO Sucheet Amin, also senior partner at Aequitas Legal law firm said: “Law firms are clearly laser-focused right now on improving the client experience and delivering more value for the services they offer.

“inCase’s record breaking statistics are clear indicators that the rising expectation and desire from clients for a digital experience is increasingly being prioritised by firms. Clients want easy and anytime access to all their case information and updates in one place, like they can do with other services. inCase transforms how they build relationships with clients to improve client satisfaction, trust and repeat business.”
