Rob Hosier, executive director at inCase, which was acquired by Access Legal this year, won Business Development Professional of the Year at the Modern Law Conveyancing Awards for his work to grow inCase across the industry with complete honesty and integrity. Judges were impressed with Rob’s infectious and genuine desire to improve the conveyancing industry and recognised his dedication to improving communication between law firms and their clients.
Other award successes included a highly commended mention for inCase as Service Provider of the Year, as the pioneering mobile app proved to judges how its features can produce remarkable results for conveyancers with reduced transaction times and an improved buying and selling experience for clients.
inCase is used by many conveyancers for a range of tasks, including digital signatures, e-forms, real-time updates and biometric ID checks, which has helped to enhance client communication, as well as improve efficiencies and reduce costs for firms.
Rob said he was “proud and grateful” to have won the award, and added:
My mission is to help law firms improve their client satisfaction, retention, and profitability by integrating our innovative and user-friendly app with their existing systems, and it’s great to see the judges recognise how it is transforming the legal industry. I’ve been able to use my extensive knowledge and experience as a property lawyer in my role and am always eager to share my insights and work with customers to ensure they get the most out of our services at inCase and Access Legal.
This win is a testament to the amazing team I work with, who have always supported my efforts and our innovative law firms who appreciate that developing a business with integrity, honesty and friendliness is hugely valued.
Last week, Access Legal, part of The Access Group, also achieved runner up for Inclusion and Diversity in the Legal Services at the British Legal Technology Awards.
Access Legal offers many products and services that help law firms to obtain an understanding of Equity, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI) issues within society. It also equips them with the power and knowledge to effectively carry out their EDI strategies and training, helping them to learn how to resolve issues at a business level and effectively represent their clients in cases.
Commenting on the recognition for its commitment to EDI, Andrew Stevens, Access Legal’s general manager, said:
Understanding EDI and implementing strategies is not just a legal requirement for law firms, it's about creating a dynamic and effective workplace, which is why Access Legal offers comprehensive courses and other resources to help law firms navigate this journey, and to show it not only values the subject matter but also its customers.
This runners up prize, along with the win and highly commended award at the Modern Law Conveyancing, demonstrate Access Legal’s constant support for its customers to help them fulfil their work to the highest standard. Whether that is through our products or services we offer, our focus is on helping law firms tackle their biggest challenges and give them the tools to make their lives easier.
Access Legal has made a significant investment in the performance of its existing product portfolio this year and in early 2025 will launch its secure GenAI to help alleviate the admin load that surrounds cases for lawyers whilst ensuring data and security is paramount.
This major launch, along with the recent awards successes, shows Access Legal is committed to innovation and continually making performance improvements to support law firms to transform their productivity and ensure an excellent client experience.
