We have looked at the reduction in footfall experienced in UK regions and compared it against a pre-lockdown average base week in February 2020.
From February's data, it would appear that across the UK, the footfall has remained consistent over the past 6 weekends, differing only by 2% at most each weekend.
Last weekend (27 Feb) saw -79% of the footfall this time last year on a Saturday, and on Sunday (28 Feb) we saw -77% of February 2020's average footfall.
From all the cities we looked at the footfall data for, London is the busiest although not anywhere near pre-lockdown levels, with -72% of February 2020's footfall seen on Saturday (27 Feb) and -70% on Sunday (28 Feb.)
The city with the quietest footfall was York, on Saturday (27 Feb) we recorded -94% and on Sunday -92% of the footfall seen in February 2020.
