The Contribution Cruncher – Hospitality’s  National Insurance Calculator 

The National Insurance changes taking effect in April 2025 sees NI rate jumping from 13.8% to 15%, while the threshold falls from £9,100 to £5,000; presenting another financial challenge for hospitality operators. 

The reduction in the Secondary Threshold means you'll now pay NI contributions for employees who previously didn't qualify. Think about your weekend team and students working a few shifts - many will now trigger employer NI for the first time.
