  • As a result, a new, complementary recruitment website is being developed for other industry areas including nurses, teachers and engineers. All websites are feature-rich and are able to attract, manage the application and then kick off the process of visa applications, too.
  • A website that integrates with customer’s ATS and CRM offering automation that fast-tracks candidate application removing duplication and the potential for human error.

What factors led you to choose Access Volcanic for your recruitment website? 

“We are long-standing partners with Volcanic and our previous site – built around Automotive Recruitment – has seen us through for the last seven or so years, and that website has been very successful. As an illustration, 76% of all previous enquiries have come through our website. So, from an organic point of view, we can grow and scale through a first-class website. We also leverage our growing social media to point to the website and the jobs we advertise–this helps.  

Our initial website has proven to be a hugely valuable tool and when you consider job boards are increasing their prices per credit, this reaffirms our reasoning for using a dedicated recruitment website.  

Due to the success of our first website, we’re rebranding and looking at another site from Volcanic to further uplift our business.

 

What were the main objectives or outcomes that you were looking to achieve from using an Access Volcanic website? 

The principal objective was to find, engage and motivate skilled candidates to register with us from across the world. Our website is proving to be a hugely valuable tool to engage people not just from New Zealand, but across the world. Many do not consider New Zealand until they come to our digital presence; choosing New Zealand is a principal message when you land on us.” 

 

What has been the performance of your Volcanic website? 

“We’ve seen so many upsides to working with Volcanic, and it’s not just related to digital performance. Processes, for example, have become slicker and the integrations with our CRM that automate many of the candidate interactions means consultants can focus on relationships with clients and jobseekers. It’s a win-win.  

The value of the integrations can’t be underestimated, either. Not only does our recruitment website integrate with our CRM, but also our applicant tracking software meaning errors are reduced and colleagues can be focused knowing the technology is always on and is always managing a constant flow of candidates that we can work with and place.

How will your Volcanic website help you sustain growth in the future? 

“The recruitment operating environment is constantly changing and that includes Jobcorp keeping ahead of our competition. We have to focus on what we can influence; job board costs are increasing – almost annually so we can mitigate their use by having a digital solution that works for us. We crave enquiries and the performance of our current website proves that. Would we have had that from job boards – it’s hard to tell.  

Our Volcanic website gives us an advantage that we are proud of – it’s more than a shop window because it does so much more than that.  

We see our ATS as our warehouse, where everything is stored and we see our website as our shop window, and being able to pair the two means that you'll be able to use AI technology and in conjunction with your ATS system and your website and other words, you're actually going to be able to leverage the power of your own database moving forward. The data we harvest is all-encompassing. Our tech talks together and it’s seamless, so there’s no reason to change. We’re really happy with our partnership with Volcanic.” 

 

What are your three favourite features on your Volcanic website? 

“Good question! We can use video to encourage people to choose New Zealand and then we can marry the latest jobs we’re advertising and recruiting for.  

The second thing that is probably the most obvious, is the way that the actual job board within the recruitment website works. 

The third feature we love is that we’re able to promote both our recruitment business and our immigration business within the same website, which was quite important.” 

 

How would you rate the support from Access? 

“If you look at the Jobcorp website and you look through it very closely, you'll see the way that the website is structured, and we appreciate that – it’s helping us attract the candidates we and our clients need.  

What’s more the support from our Customer Success team means they are there to help us maximise our digital presence – and we’re thankful for that and we enjoy our partnership.”
