Single Touch Payroll Phase 2 (STP2) expands the information you need to capture and report to the ATO with each pay run to include the components that make up gross income, income types, salary sacrifice, lump sums, child support and so on. Read on to learn more about the changes.
Attaché Single Touch Payroll Phase 2 Consulting and Upgrade Services
Single Touch Payroll Phase 2 (STP2) expands the information you need to capture and report to the ATO with each pay run to include the components that make up gross income, income types, salary sacrifice, lump sums, child support and so on. To meet the STP2 reporting requirements, you will need to:
- Check that your current setups and employee data are correct.
- Upgrade to Attaché version 21 or later.
- Configure new settings and data mapping in the desktop and Attaché Online.
We are providing four fixed-price STP2 consulting packages so you can choose the services that suit your needs.
STP2 Package A Software upgrade only
Recommended if you intend to prepare for and implement STP2 yourself, without the services of an Access Attaché Consultant, but require our Certified Technical Installer to carry out the upgrade to Attaché version 21.

- STP2 Preparation Checklist outlining the checks required to ensure your payroll setups and employee data are ready for STP2.
- Access Attaché Payroll version 21 or later upgrade (to a single server) by a Certified Technical Installer.
- STP2 Implementation Checklist outlining the required setups and data reclassification for STP2-compliant lodgements.
- Access Attaché version 21 webinar – Learn about all the features in version 21 or later including the STP2 updates.
- Using Express Leave on Access Workspace webinar – Learn to use Express Leave on Access Workspace and the additional benefits of Access Workspace.
$450 + GST
STP2 Package B Consulting service only*
Recommended if you use Cloud Hosted Services, as upgrades are included with your CHS plan. This package provides the services of an Access Attaché Consultant to assist in the process of preparing for and delivering the ATO requirements for STP2.

- STP2 Implementation Checklist outlining the required setups and data reclassification for STP2-compliant lodgements.
- STP2 Implementation Services (post upgrade) by an Access Attaché Consultant to check data, set up Attaché Online and assist with the data recategorization required for STP2-compliant lodgements.
- Access Attaché version 21 webinar – Learn about all the features in version 21 including the STP2 updates.
- Using Express Leave on Access Workspace webinar – Learn to use Express Leave on Access Workspace and the additional benefits of Access Workspace.

STP2 Package C Upgrade and Consulting services*
The complete STP2 package. This package provides the services of an Access Attaché Consultant to assist in the process of preparing for and delivering the ATO requirements for STP2 as well as the upgrade by a Certified Technical Installer.

STP2 Package D STP2 Enablement only*
For those clients who have completed their own readiness checks and are already on Version 21 or later but would like to use a consultant to do the final setups and STP2 Implementation. This may include clients who previously purchased Package A.

Terms and conditions
- * Package B and C: STP2 Readiness Review and Implementation Services for multiple companies (datasets) are charged at $240 for the first additional dataset and $200 for further datasets. We require Microsoft Excel to be available in your environment to enable ODBC data checks as part of the Readiness Review and Implementation Services.
- STP2 services can only be performed by an Access consultant under one of the STP2 packages. Contact us if you believe these do not suit.
- Package A: Checklists and other relevant documentation will be provided to help you to carry out the pre-upgrade and post-upgrade tasks yourself. You cannot call or raise cases with the Support Team for assistance to complete the tasks. If you require assistance, you will be referred to the Consulting Services team and will be charged at $250 per hour premium rate.
- Package B: If you choose to do your own mandatory upgrade to Attaché version 21, you cannot call or raise cases with the Support Team for assistance to complete the upgrade. Upgrade documentation will be provided, however, we recommend that only experienced IT specialists carry out the upgrade.
Priority will be given to customers on a first-come, first-served basis. We cannot guarantee a Technical Installer or Access consultant will be available without advance booking. - * Package D – STP2 Implementation services for multiple companies (datasets) are charged at $150 for 1st additional dataset and $100 for each additional dataset after that.
- * Package D: To be eligible for this package, you must already be on Version 21 or later AND have completed your readiness checks.
- Pre-upgrade, upgrade and post-upgrade services may be provided at different times, as appropriate for the site, the ATO requirements and consultant availability.
All services will be scheduled and carried out remotely unless specifically requested. Please note any onsite visits will attract Travel Time. - All package prices are quoted excluding GST and will be invoiced upon booking.
- Note: Access Attaché version 21 will not work with MS Windows Server 2008, 2008R2 or Windows 7, as they are no longer supported. If you use these operating systems, please contact your Account Manager urgently to discuss options.
