Commenting on today’s announcements, Chris Bayne, CEO of The Access Group, said: “This latest acquisition supports our regional strategy and focus on delivering solutions that meet the needs of our growing global customer base. We welcome Sage Group’s APAC customers, partners and employees into The Access Group.”
Kerry Agiasotis will transition from Sage to become President of The Access Group, Asia Pacific. Commenting on the acquisition, Kerry said: “The union of Sage Group’s local businesses in Asia and Australia, and The Access Group’s established presence in the region, presents a unique opportunity for customers and partners to leverage a leader in integrated people and financial management software services.”
“Kerry’s significant leadership experience in the payroll and software services market, combined with our global and local resources to develop the payroll and accounting software solutions will augment Access’ growing portfolio of software solutions. We are transforming our customers’ ability to give every employee the freedom to do more through fully integrated Software as a Service solutions like Access Workspace,” continued Chris.
“I’m very proud of how Access has shown, not only resilience, but also huge progress and growth during the past incredibly challenging 18 months and I am thrilled Kerry will be making the transition to Access to lead the region.”
The Access Group will also bring its global SaaS solution, Access Workspace, to the region which connects payroll, finance, HR and digital learning applications to one platform, transforming the way software solutions are used, and giving every employee the freedom to do more from a simple, single sign-on interface.
Access ANZ expanded its solution suite in October 2020, through the launch of its human resources, employee recognition, digital learning and gamified learning solutions, part of the Access People division. This is in addition to the acquisitions of Unleashed (inventory management software) in 2020, and the 2019 acquisitions of Attaché (Australian-based financial management and payroll solutions), Joyful (not-for-profit donor and member attraction website software) and Volcanic (recruitment and staffing website software).
